PACCAR engine factory in Columbus, Mississippi.
PACCAR is a global technology leader in the design, manufacture and customer support of high-quality light-, medium- and heavy-duty trucks under the Kenworth, Peterbilt and DAF nameplates.
#PACCAR manufacturing the MX-11 and MX-13 engines. Each engines carries a design life of one million miles, providing customer with a significant boost to uptime. MX engine blocks are made from compacted graphite iron (CGI), a material that is 75% stronger and 20% lighter than gray iron. CGI offers greater strength and temperature resistance than traditional metals, allowing the block to maintain excellent structural integrity while expanding and contracting. PACCAR is the first diesel engine manufacturer to use this lightweight material in both the head and block portions.

My truck is 2022 but injectors knocking all the time
Trash ๐ข
Paccar hates mechanics. Their whole web E portal is a mess, you gotta have 5-6 different windows open at a time to find service information on their trucks and God help you if your working on a garbage truck.
Muito bacana mesmo
So cool
After a million miles running strong with better fuel milage than cummins ๐๐๐
Excellent engines. When it comes to mechanica. I never see an overhaull..aftertrwtment systems give problems..just keep these engine running with good oil and filters and that's it
Who makes a motor with a rear gear train and a plastic oil pan and plastic rocker box?? I call it a boat anchor but im not sure it even good enough for that given all the plastic shit on it.
BAD ENGINE ๐ EVERYTHING MALFUNCTIONS WITHIN 200,000 MILES
The silicone applicator just blew my mind!
Will never run another one of these. One was more than plenty to know better. If you make the mistake of the purchase of the mx disaster. Do yourself a favor, trade it in or burn it down before the warranty expires.
All of this
……its still a piece of ๐ฉ
No Permatex?
Cylinder block may be casted in Brazil by Tupy
I have one it blew up at 500,000 miles.
Crap engines. My last truck a 2019 engine the compressor went bad at about 340k miles, over pressuring the cooling system. A couple months later it needed a new engine due to a dropped sleeve. Then my next truck developed the same cooling cooling system issue right at 345k miles. Dealer just blew me off saying it was just from over filling the surge tank. Two months later the engine failed due to a broken head bolt which resulted in oil system failure the camshaft & crank bearings getting roaches due to coolant being mixed with the oil. I no longer trust Paccar products or their incompetent dealerships.
Sensacional.

The block engine are made for TUPY foundry.
Nice video

Paccar needs to up their game with the parts supply , pricing and diagnosis. As an owner-operator my 2017 Peterbilt has been out of commission for 6 out of the last 15 months because parts were unavailable and or I could not find anyone competent to fix it. I just got it back after being down for six weeks and paying thousands of dollars and it is still doing the same thing !!!!! Disgusting. Most truck drivers I know will not touch a truck with this engine.
Paccar is the absolute worst engine ever made. The crooks that control the company should be made to give anyone that bought that shit their money back and then go to jail
Who ever invented the automatic transmission for semi trucks should be in prison for the rest of their lives
Thanks sir good job
AMAZING
a lot of assembly process
The factory is very impressive.I have a talents on this aspect

Paccar Engine Production For American trucks beautiful
Beauty was created for air conditioning, the yard of its land, and the length of the distances, the concentration of water, the renewal of the blood circulation to drink water
The MX-13 is an engine developed by DAF in the Netherlands and called after the mother of DAF PACCAR.
At 1:54 you see in Dutch written what the employee needs to do.
junk , never buy a truck with a paccar …
I drove a T880 day cab with only 40k miles on it for 2 days. It had the MX engine. It was gutless and I had a light load. With an empty trailer it pulled like my ISX with a full trailer.
wnen their done building them, have a scrap hopper bye and throw them in
I've been to Eindhoven. Beautiful town.
Even the worst truck engines made today are made in state of the art factories by good hard working people. It all comes back to design.
Came here to learn about Paccar engines. Unfortunately videos like this one cease to be interesting or educational when void of narration. Useless waste of my time. No subscription here.๐
Mislabeled, not in Mississippi. and the music sucks.
Meanwhile I can watch some Pakistani rebuild the same engine in a couple hours in the dirt with hand tools and it will last twice as long
Hate the music
To jeden z najlepszych motorรณw w historii DAF'a,teraz Paccar.
Daf'ami jeลผdลผฤ od 99'.
Od 2009 jestem wลaลcicielem 1-go DAF'a.
W 2013 roku kupiลem kolejny model i zaczฤ ลem …"po swojemu".
Przez rok eksperymentowaลem,zwiฤkszaลem jego potencjฤ.No i siฤ udaลo.
Mรณj DAF ma 600"koni" na chamowni,pali 23.8-25L z 25/27T i siฤ nie psuje.
Czemu o sobie,bo wystarczyลoby ลผeby inลผynierowie trochฤ pomyลleli, zmienili koncepcje, podejลcie do ekologii to auta DAF'a byลyby w klasie 13-litrowcรณw najbardziej ekonomiczne na ลwiecie.
Skoro UE dopลaca do wszystkiego co ekologiczne to czemu qrva jego maฤ nie nakaลผe producentom ciฤลผarรณwek produkowaฤ auta TYLKO na ekologiczne noลniki energii, gdzie przy zakupie nowego auta byลaby automatycznie dopลata ze strony UE!
Wiem ลผe hipokryzja to 2-gie"ja"UE ale chyba czasami mogliby pomyลleฤ.
Personally Paccar is the worst same day truck got delivered engine went in about 3 miles brand new 2022 Peterbilt 348 engine was replaced and lots of problems since day 1!
Decent engines HORRIBLE tech support. Training sucks. Warrenty repair times are criminal.
Superb engineering
