Hey Sandy,
Is this possible?
Why can't a trailer or 5th wheel have its own drivetrain/batterypack to supplement the towing capacity of a pickup to negate range loss. Tesla could easily develop software where the cybertruck's accelerator actively controls the trailer's drivetrain to minimize the tow weight. Plus the trailer would benefit from regenerative braking negating alot of heaving weight braking issues.

Too many buttons at the touchscreen. Get rid of them & make the screen bigger.

Gotta love those long haul flights to/from Australia!

3:18 No correction to 7.2 needed as far as I know? 32*230= 7360 right?
If anything it's 7.4kW.
Or is the American system different compared to the European?

As a contractor, you don't need that crap, unless you like working overtime so you can make payments on your truck. If you're building a house, the first thing you do is get a genset, 20' shipping container to lock up your tools, and my trusty Dually F350 XL with no options except for cruise, plow package, double batteries, and heavy duty generator. The less electronic crap, the better. I don't need to shoot down a satellite from my cab, I just need to get my compressor running. However, for small jobs, I could see the power plugs come in handy. All in all, this truck is for wanna be's driving their fat ass kids to Dairy Queen. Cheers from Canada.

I understand you like the improvements, but in my opinion as some anonymous internet dude, this vehicle is already obsolete. It's too little too late.

Ford may hang on for a little while, but when the cybertruck comes out and companies improve their margins with an extremely effective (AND CHEAPER) utility EV, it's over.

I mean it's frickin' over.

I would like to add some thing that almost every brand misses is the finger rest under the screen. My wifeโ€™s prime has a big screen and it can be hard to use because Your arm is floating out in the air bouncing on the bumps and you end up hitting the wrong thing a lot

@brettcammack

If that center screen supported miracast it would seem feasible to use it as a monitor for a device capable of remotely casting it's screen.

It seems Mr. Munro that you stepped on your credibility here in this review, just not buying into it. Financial hard times for many, it seems.

I'd say its just 5% better than the last gen, but of course this is typical of all the established automakers, American, Japanese, or European. This is why we are excited about Tesla because they do something completely different.

This has as much design finesse as a school bus. The inside somehow reminds me of an old motel. It's missing a lava lamp on the dashboard. I had a VW double cab pickup 40 years ago that had way more style than this. Seats didn't recline but you could sleep in the back, it had hoops and canvas like a covered wagon. Two bench seats so it seated 6 and came with a fold out tableโ€” I loved that truck. Fords thinking seems to be to make it look muscly, big and domineering. Let's paint it black and make it look manly. This thinking is passรฉ. There is no consideration to aerodynamics. The beauty of the Cybertruck is its form follows its function. The function of the vehicle and the function of the material its made of. It is like Concorde or a fighter jet designed for purpose without embellishment. The Cybertruck shows truth, truth in its material. The Ford and such present a facade, a mere show of muscle that if you hit with a hammer would buckle. It is a bully puffing itself up so men who need a crutch to their masculinity will buy it. God I'm rambling on, it's the whisky! If you've read this far you need to get a life:-)

Perfect truck to handle the heavy loads of grocery bags with the gas millage of a Corvette, to the 80% of their future buyers.

At these prices you're going to need those fold flat seat because you won't be able to afford rent.

I wish Tesla would lend you the Cybertruck for a test drive to see how that beast compares to the rest. Even in dev phase.

Sandy, while you do a good auto review, what we really appreciate is vehicles with new tech torn apart. How about pulling apart some of the cheaper Chinese EVs for a look at their powertrains – cheap electric powertrains are what is going to make EVs successful. Obviously, Chinese styling is not western, and quality of the body and features may/may not be the best, but their price means they have cheap powertrains. $20K to $30k would allow you to buy one, put it in a container and ship it to Michigan.

@fanaticvandal472

So when are you tearing this one down Sandy?

@philippeh1277

Hello Sandy. For once I am not supporting your video. What has Ford threatened you with after the previous video to hear you use such superlatives on every features of the car just based on best angles screenshots? Amongst others, saying 'i love this look, even if I am not exactly sure what I am looking at' (when presenting the dashboard) plays against your credibility in other videos. I wish you return quickly to more objective videos such as many ones you have produced so far and that I appreciate. Stay healthy

Why some people comparing this to the cyber truck? You really think cyber truck will have a chance against the real trucks in real life? Come on guys

@ViolentKisses87

Give it 2 years and with the Cybertruck coming on the scene Chevy will be a distant 4th
